Dr. Ron Babecoff – D.V.M. – Founder, President and CEO

Dr. Ron Babecoff is a veterinarian, a graduate of the University of Liege ULG, Belgium in 1992 and a Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MEI) at the Business Administration program of the Swinburne University of Technology of Melbourne, Australia (Israeli Branch (ISEMI) Tel-Aviv).

Dr. Babecoff has 10 years of experience in marketing and business development in the pharmaceutical industry. In his last position as Marketing Manager at Omrix Biopharmaceuticals Ltd., Dr. Babecoff was responsible for marketing, sales training, public relations, and new product development. Most of Dr. Babecoff’s time was dedicated to business development issues including developing new and current export markets, negotiating and contracting with distributors in target countries. Some significant projects that Dr. Babecoff was involved in include identifying West Nile Fever treatment and building cooperation with USA NIH, forming alliances with leading major pharmaceutical companies (ZLB, LFB).


Dr. Tamar Ben-Yedidia - Director of R&D

Dr. Tamar Ben-Yedidia has 15 years of experience in the field of Immunology, with specific expertise in the development of vaccines. She started her career with Biotechnology General Ltd, BTG (Rehovot) in the development of a recombinant anti-Hepatitis-B virus vaccine in mammalian cells. Dr. Ben-Yedidia also led a team experimenting in the identification of a specific protein related to hepatitis B recombinant vaccine. Since joining the workforce at the Weizmann Institute of Science in 1994 under the auspices of Prof. Ruth Arnon in the Department of Immunology, she has been working on the design of a peptide-based vaccine against influenza. In addition, Dr. Ben-Yedidia is involved in two European Consortium projects related to evaluation of different approaches for vaccination in which leading laboratories in the field are involved.

Dr. Ben Yedidia is an invited speaker at conferences around the world and has published over 15 refereed articles and invited reviews in various renowned scientific journals.

Dr. Ben Yedidia received her Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute after completion of her doctoral thesis entitled “A Peptide-Based Vaccine Against Influenza.”
